Pro users do not receive monthly credits.
As a paying pro user, I’m looking to end my subscription if this dose not change. Even if a small amount, all paying pro users should receive a monthly credit amount INCLUDED in their subscription cost allowing them to use some of the PAY FOR USE Ai’s. Even say 250 or 500 credits would be enough for a user to try out and use the Pay For Use models a few times a month, which would actually most likely stimulate more users to purchase additional credits as they find themselves wanting to utilize the Pay For Use options more.
remove restrictions on grok imagine, this is why most of the people subscribed for.
Adding filters to grok imagine is unacceptable, many people subscribe to your plans and spend token on grok imagine for its uncensored feature, disabling this only make things worse.
Venice's account on Nostr
Hi, I am the same user who wrote the Mastodon and Matrix Chat Feedback. My previous feedback: https://featurebase.venice.ai/p/venices-account-on-mastodon-or-matrix-chat Due to the events with the Gab social network, where they now block access to users who use VPN or Proxy (with the exception of Pro users), it made me doubt whether Mastodon is the best option. That is why I better suggest a Venice account on Nostr, because it is much more resistant to censorship than Mastodon thanks to the Relays, and it is more likely that in the future it will be more difficult to block access via VPN or Proxy thanks to them (the Relays), in addition to other promising features.
Grok imagine pro essentially useless
As well as Qwen image edit 2 pro, what was acceptable yesterday, is now not acceptable on grok imagine pro. I used a random prompt “dying zombie laying by a car” just to see if it would block something that’s not even NSFW. with a reference image of a random car, and it blocked it. Rendering it useless for almost anything. Qwen image 2 pro also has gotten even worse. Almost all other models won’t do anything NSFW anyways. The one use I have for this app is pretty much gone.
Public character "Highest Rating" ordering needs improvement.
Currently When I sort my character by highest rating,it’s hard to navigate since it is only sorted by average rating then ? (Probably date published) So it gives weird situations where one 5 stars review will be shown before three 5 star reviews. So here’s what I would suggest: Simple solution: sort by rating then number of rate descending. It would already be a very appreciated improvement that the 22 five stars rating would be over rhe 18 five stars one. Alternative value solution : Sort on an average rating with two extra 3 stars vote. A simple strategy to really make the characters with lots of high rating shine. A few examples One 5 star rating = 3.66 (vs 5) Two 5 star ratings = 4 (vs 5) Twenty 5 start ratings = 4.81 (vs 5) One 5 star and one 1 star = remains 3 Eighteen 5 star, Five 4 star, one 1 stst= 4.68 (vs 4.82) It would give a much more natural order of ratings. However, it may be more confusing as well for the user seeing a 4.68 average rating over a 5 star averafe rating, for example.
Don't charge extra credits for Text Models on Pro Plan (Keep Text & Image included)
I am a daily Pro user who loves Venice for its Privacy and Uncensored nature. That is the core value proposition of this platform. The Issue: I have noticed that some text chat models now require extra payments/credits. While I fully understand and agree that Video Generation is computationally expensive and justifies extra costs, putting a paywall behind Text Models feels like a mistake for Pro subscribers. Why this matters: Value for Money: We pay for the Pro subscription to avoid limits. If I have to pay per token for text, the subscription loses value. Competition: High-end models (like Grok, Gemini, etc.) are often accessible for free or cheaply on their native platforms. I choose Venice not because the models are impossible to find elsewhere, but for the privacy and freedom. The Request: Please keep Text and Image generation fully included in the Pro Plan without extra credit costs. Reserve the "paid credits" system only for heavy compute tasks like Video. Please don't turn Venice into a "pay-per-token" commodity. Keep the Pro subscription simple and powerful.
Back up chat history
Although I do think this is a nice feature, I do think it shouldn't be locked behind pro, if anything I feel like if you don't have pro you can restore chat history up to five times before having to wait for like a week or month
Venice's account on Mastodon (or Matrix Chat)
Venice's account on Mastodon (or Matrix Chat) It would be nice to be able to follow Venice from federated networks like Mastodon or Matrix to not rely on centralized services that may not respect privacy, like X, Instagram, Discord, etc. More freedom would be gained by not sticking to the censorship rules of these platforms, plus, other things could happen later on like, asking users for a Digital Identity (Digital ID). This feedback goes hand in hand with Venice's ideology of privacy and resistance to censorship.
Questionning the revelancy of my subscription
Hey Venitians and Venice lords, I wanted to share some honest feedback after being a subscriber for 10 months. I've been thinking long and hard about whether to speak up, wondering if I'm just being needy, but after sitting with it, I think I need to get this off my chest. First of all, I'm genuinely thrilled to be part of this community. Everyone is so respectful and understanding, and I love that we can share ideas with very little friction. I've had an amazing time chatting with you all, and I believe in the vision and the tech you're building. That's why I'm still paying every month. Lately, though, I'm struggling with the subscription. It makes me uneasy because you've given me a lot, but something has changed for me on the receiving end. I get that the Venice team is navigating a massive, fast-moving industry trying to marathon the pace of model releases, the pressure to stay on top and to expand the range of services you're trying to offer. I work as a programmer myself, so I can imagine the backlog growing and the tough business decisions being made. I understand all of that. Still, I speak as the user who subscribed specifically for the characters section and the interface experience. I subscribed for the platform itself: unlimited text/image usage without being bound to a single model, posting and downloading from the character library, the privacy and the ease of access. I'd say 3 of the five months I was subscribed to were absolutely thrilling. The biggest things that hurt my enjoyment were when Venice Large was the only model and the context bug that dragged on for so long before being fixed. Since then, these sections of the platform have gone stale. These days, I find myself returning to the web interface only to be frustrated by how slow and painfully limited it feels, with features that only seem to work half the time, with the lack of transparency of the engine behind, and by how little the existing sections have evolved to be more customizable. The character section in particular doesn't reflect how character creation has grown on other platforms. The summarizer is deeply embedded with no user control, so when it bugs, it really hurts the experience. The Featured section has completely hindered my interest to produce new characters since they don’t have the same visibility. Since I am not doing image generations with the free models because they are subpar, I'm left paying a subscription for very little usage that I can't even use outside the web interface. At this point, I'd rather support Venice by simply buying $18 worth of credits every month than continue with a Pro subscription. At least then I'd be paying for something I can actually use anything inside AND outside the platform. The awkward part is that buying credits would strip my ability to post and create characters, feeling like a situation I’d end up cutting the bridge completely. I appreciate all your hard work and I'd genuinely love to hear where development stands and whether there's a plan to accelerate bug fixing and improve existing sections over new features. That would really help me decide where I’m heading with this situation.
Complaint from a Pro user — Inadequate treatment of paying members
I am writing as a Pro user to express my dissatisfaction with the way paying members are being treated regarding image generation and photo editing. In Venice, users are given up to a thousand free images per day, but those are images created from scratch. The problem is that Venice does not handle sequential images well, and when a user asks for something as simple as a retouch to improve the quality of an existing photo, credits are charged. This feels unfair for paying members. A Pro subscription should include basic photo enhancement and quality improvement without requiring additional credits for every simple edit. Improving the resolution, color, sharpness, or overall quality of a photo should be considered a basic feature for subscribers, not an extra paid action. As a paying user, I believe this policy creates a poor experience and does not reflect fair value for members who already support the service through a subscription. I kindly ask you to reconsider this system and offer Pro users a fairer allowance for photo retouching, enhancement, and quality improvement, especially when the request is not to create a brand-new image but simply to improve an existing one.
Please put the edit button back
You guys changed the list of default buttons, putting the rest in the menu. But the button I use the most, and it’s not even close, is the edit button. Please put it back on the list of buttons under the response. As far as I’m concerned you can hide the “share this conversation” in the menu, if you don’t want to expand the list.
More mature content.
Please allow us to be able to make mature stuff by disabling the lock on the mature filter button without having to pay for Venice Pro, please.
1500 characters for image models are not enough
For me, 1,500 characters aren't enough to create an image with a model other than Flux. I'm dedicated to creating images with the most meticulous details possible; 1,500 characters is not enough.
Create More Ways to Consume VVV
The purpose of bitcoin is to be bought and owned. The purpose of most altcoins is to be sold. This is why most altcoins are down only compared to bitcoin. The value proposition for vvv is in the expanding need for AI intelligence by increasing the velocity of use across a growing market of participants. We are in the early stages, but developing more ways to consume, tip, or spend vvv by using characters, art, etc seems to be path forward.
DeepSeek V4 Flash on TEE
DeepSeek V4 Flash on TEE, is this model anonymized or is it fully private? I’m asking about the TEE version for pro users, I cant tell from the dashboard. The same model without TEE says anonymized, but is it fully private on TEE? Please explain.
