Subject: Feature Request: Cross-Device Conversation Sync
Hi Venice team,
I'm writing to request a feature that would significantly improve my workflow: the ability to sync chat threads across devices while maintaining the privacy Venice is known for.
My use case: I primarily use Venice on my mobile phone, but there are times when I want to switch to my laptop or iPad for a larger screen and better ergonomics—especially when working on longer projects. Currently, I can't do this seamlessly because each device operates as a separate instance with no shared conversation history or context.
This creates a frustrating choice: stay on a small screen even when it's uncomfortable, or start over from scratch on another device. I'm effectively "trapped" on whichever device I started with.
I understand Venice prioritizes privacy and doesn't store conversation data on servers. However, I believe cross-device sync could be achieved without compromising anonymity—whether through encrypted sync tokens, device pairing, or other privacy-preserving methods.
This would be a meaningful quality-of-life improvement that would let users work naturally across their devices rather than being locked into one platform per conversation.
