Venice Desktop App
I might be missing something obvious here but why not have a desktop app that bypasses the issues and limitations of using a browser? Like not being able to use the max context window a model can offer and cache storage limits browsers have.
Just seems like a desktop app would provide a far more standard experience than having to cater to multiple browsers as well as offer Venice more control in what features they can implement.

I unsubscribe from chatgpt pro, too much censorship. I might subscribe to venice.ai if they have good ux but I’ll miss the chatgpt voice I used to hearing. I hope they have human like voices as well..

What about using it as a front end for localized LLM’s and when it does not have the answer it uses its back end web side to reach out to cover the back end Hope I make sense

Woudln’t that make more work for te developpers? They seem to have to push updates out of sync between web, android mobile app, iphone mobile app, and mac os web.

im actually working on making my own lol sorta this would be great though
